White Album 50th Anniversary Edition Price and Shipping Thread

In Liverpool for the SGP Pepper release they converted the Hard Days Night Hotel shop into a SGT pepper pop up store so I’m thinking of going in on release day to buy the boxset and 4LP on release day or get it from HMV, there was a lot to choose from in the pepper store so will hopefully get it from there again.

 

Are the vinyl versions being pressed at Optimal in Germany?

 

I’ve been using Bull Moose more than Amazon for this type of thing. I’ve found them vert reliable... the boxes arrive on release day...well packed

 

If you click on the link for the boxed edition or the 3CD version (first and second one down) alongside the cd price on Amazon UK the vinyl is listed at £12.99 . Click on that and there is an image of a Hozier EP the text states tbc by tbc release date 28th November. Worth ordering it might be honoured, it might be The Beatles either way you can always cancel. It does state The Beatles within my orders, the image is still Hozier. In fact everything indicates that it is Hozier, different release date, record company and single vinyl but worth a try. Confusing potential bargain.

 

Bull Moose looks like the winner right now. Man, they run a great business too!

Will the original lp be remixed from the original multi tracks like Sgt P?

My understanding is that the Capitol Music Group, part of Universal Music Group, distributes the Beatles catalog.

I'm one of the ones waiting for US Amazon too. They're reliable and pretty good at resolving issues that might come about. Can't wait to get that 4-LP set with Esher Demos. I wonder how "limited" the limited edition will be? That Christmas disc set last year seemed to sell out in a couple weeks, not right away but it lingered a while before becoming unavailable. I hope to be placing my order soon!
