I'm considering getting a ticket for MGMT in December, but I'm not really sure, seeing as I've been disappointed by their last two albums and people say they're not very good live.

    This year I have seen:
    Steve Winwood
    Robert Plant
    Kamasi Washington
    Brad Paisley
    Eagles
    James Taylor
    Kenny Chesney/Thomas Rhett

I am going to see Hot Tuna in December.

It was a very light year for me for concerts.

More my wife's thing, but I really enjoyed both. Great vocals and instrumentation. Idina brought the fire!

Really looking forward to this. Saw his fantastic Rockabilly Riot show 2 summers ago.

I have tickets for a show at the end of the month and a couple other possibilities this month. Then it is winter and recent history means no one comes to upstate NY in the winter.
    However.......
Alejandro Escovedo was just book nearby in January. I'm in.

I think it was a fill in date between already booked gigs in CT and Detroit.

The summer sheds are already starting to book acts. It seems to get earlier every year.

I actually had something come up and I wasn't able to attend the Posies show.

The Sloan show that I attended was fantastic though.

    Sorry I couldn't help...:(

Was at Def Leppard tonight in Glasgow, supported by Cheap Trick.

Hysteria tour, so played the album in full, in order. Then a short selection of other stuff. Really good show, just short of two hours.

Saw them 2 nights ago. Joe sounded good to me and the concert as a whole was fantastic. Cheap trick were brilliant as well...

Last gig of the year for me on Saturday - Mercury Rev in a cathedral...

I've been to 49 gigs this year...and one more coming on Sunday when I realised that Julia Holter was involved.

I've realised that I've already booked 15 for next year...

I see Tedeschi-Trucks Detroit tix go on-sale this Friday for a gig next July (hate that).
But it is at my favourite venue (Meadowbrook) and I've always wanted to see the
opener Blackberry Smoke. How can I resist?!

Like Brownsound2112 said, I thought his vocals sounded strong enough. My wife noticed there was a couple of times he didn't go up to a really high note, which was probably a sensible move!

Nice video tribute to Steve Clark as well, thought they were bound to do something along those lines.

After Def Leppard last night I am going to see Tyla's Dogs D'Amour back in Edinburgh, tomorrow night.

From 10,000 to a couple of hundred, but I love Tyla and will enjoy it just as much.

Two gigs in three nights is unheard of for me these days. :D
