Why do record stores clean records just to put them back in the same awful sleeves?

My local shops got the ultrasonic running at all times, and then I watch them put those beautifully cleaned records back into the worst sleeves imaginable. Its almost like its more for show at that point.

    End rant

Tell them to buy some of the cheap MFSL clone inners from China. They work well for me.

I include the original crappy inner if it's not all beat up.

It never made much sense to me either. However, I clean LPs at work and sometimes I'll find the sleeve wasn't that bad and the record really wasn't that important. Then I don't waste a new sleeve.
