Why doesn't anyone make an elegant tonearm lifter?

    these devices work like a charm, and are pretty-much hassle free. my old vintage a/t safety raiser finally gave up the ghost after ~20 years, so i went back to my q-up, which was in use for 10 years prior. still works a treat. (and i don't understand what's the issue with having to reset these? you simply push down the arm lift!?!)

    in any event, it looks like the chinese have finally gotten involved in lowering prices:

    You can certainly see where you're spending your money on a Tru-Lift verses that Chinese one.
