Why don't TV shows have song credits?

    There's also the infamous indecipherable lyrics to WKRP in Cincinnati's closing theme.

    The phase out of closing credit music was done to cram more ads into TV shows for the already attention deficit TV audience. It's a shame since shows like the Simpsons can be quite creative with their alternative credit music. What I really hate is when networks put animated ads within the actual show promoting the other crap. TBS is really bad about this where they recently would freeze Family Guy right in the middle to plug some awful sitcom.
