Never seen that before, and it's a different track listing to my Biker Like An Icon CD!

  2. For me the box is not the one when the promo was released back (always seen it in the plastic case, UK as this one or paper sleeve, US) then but who God only knows...

looks pretty off to me...I would ponder why a promo for biker like an icon would have an image from the 'my brave face' single as in insert. seems off to me.

Wow - that looks bad. What’s with the ‘My Brave Face’ cover on the inside.
I have the genuine promo - in a clear slimline case, but this is a promo that’s been widely pirated - as it has the unique Unplugged song on it.
A genuine CD will have the EMI factory name on the inner ring as was normal in the early 90s. Can’t remember offhand if it’s EMI Swindon or EMI Uden.

  5. Does it have Mean Woman Blues? That could be why.

  6. The box is similar to ones that a was around in early 90's when I purchased some McCartney titles in these wooden boxes (I remember Off The Ground, Unplugged, Choba B CCCP) but never see one of this box made for a single or a promo... here in Italy they are semi-legit

The insert looks like a photocopy to me (54 year old eyes maybe), but thought I would check with the experts on here as it is cheap compared to Discogs.

The wooden box is better, so it’s not as easy to break when they hear the song and want to stomp on it..

I couldn't find this on eBay. Did you get a pic of it? I'd like to see what it was.

Let's just all agree that "Biker Like An Icon" is the worst single Paul ever released.

Far from the truth! I have to go back less than a month to find a single that's inferior to "Biker" -- "Get Enough".

At least Get Enough has decent lyrics, and that wonderful instrumental bridge. Literally nothing saves Biker, IMO, nothing

Holy smoke they added Biker Like an Icon and Get Enough to Wild Life & Red Rose Speedway (Expanded Reissue)? This is huge!

Get Enough is much worse and I would add Spies Like Us.

One thing saves Biker, it's a better song!

Um, no. Sorry. Biker is fine. Not brilliant, but fine. I'd reserve that accolade for tripe like Mary Had a Little Lamb. Or the Playout Version of No More Lonely Nights. Or maybe, even, Getting Closer.
