Of "In A Chamber"? I've never seen it or even heard of it.
    Where have you seen it?

Check amazon u.s.a.....I've seen both the oglio version and the original 415 label issue both on c.d.

Oooooo, this is exciting, more for the bonus tracks than the format since I still have my '84 LP.

Not seeing it on Amazon USA. Can you provide a link?

I didn't start buying CDs until 1988, but I've been a fan of the band since 1984, and in all of my years of scouring record shops, I've definitely never seen a copy of "In A Chamber" on CD prior to the Oglio issue with "Between Two Words".

    Anything's possible, I guess.

I just checked amazon u.s.a. and amazon u.k. and the original c.d. editions are gone... probably sold.I would've bought it when I saw it but the price was steep!the oglio version is on both sites....extremely expensive.

It should still be listed if it exists. The two versions of the Last Perfect thing comp is all I have seen along with the Oglio

Yes that's all I see now....but as late as mid-January I could swear I'd seen an original 415 issue on c.d.......I have been checking amazon periodically for a couple of year's and I was hoping for a better price...I am always searching for it and the oglio version at my local used c.d. store.now owning this re-issue is almost enough for me.

Yeah, thankfully I bought the Oglio CD when it first hit my local shop. I think I paid $12.99, brand new.

Yes i have purchased the 1 c.d. reissue and found an odd-ball ooglio 2.c.d. of the first 2 albums....the 2 c.d. version of the ooglio issue has a couple of extra tracks the 1 c.d. version of the ooglio version dosen't.....not sure way ooglio did it in 2 versions.....

I got it. It sounds good, and it is nice having all three albums in digital form...but I prefer the sound quality the expanded edition standalone for In A Chamber that is streaming on Qobuz. I will be ordering the CD for it.

I found an original pressing of Wire Train's In a Chamber on the dollar rack at a used record store today, and am spinning it right now on my turntable.

I've got the 2019 CD reissue as well. Such a brilliantly under-recognized band.

I moved house and have my system in a completely different room. I dropped my original LP the other day and audibly dinged side A on the edge of the plinth. Oh well. I decided to revisit the BGO and Expanded edition to see if I prefer one over the other again. I think the BGO sounds great for the first title, so I take back my preference I wrote about last December. In my new room, the BGO is smoother with the expanded sounding a bit more brittle due to compression. In my old room, I didn't notice the brittleness of the Expanded Edition. Such great music. I highly recommend this BGO set. If you have the Expanded, I think it is worth doubling up on the first album because they sound very different and one might sound better in your space than the other.

None of the bonus tracks sound like needle drops. :)

So that's how Karl Wallinger ended up working with Jeff Trott.
