Fair point, but based on the videos posted it looks pretty bloody dire to me. And what’s that old saying about it’s probably best NOT to meet your idols..?

The meet-n-greet ($2,000??) with Vinnie Vincent looked good to me.

For a while, it looked like Ace was wondering too.

Triumph was one of the best of the "arena" acts of the late 70s-80s, and Rik is a top-tier guitarist and one of the best voices in Rock. $35 for a personal concert and evening of mingling and drinking wine is a stone-cold bargain!

(Sorry if this was a threadcrap, now back to KISS...)

Ok, whatever floats your boat! I still wouldn’t consider paying someone $2000 to meet them ‘good’ personally, but each to there own.

    I wouldn't pay $5.00.

{EDIT. The above Liverpudlian and this Yank responded with about the exact same thought at the exact same time... only our respective country's currencies were different!}

Threadcrap begin...last year my wife and I were able to see Wreckless Eric at a CD store in SLC for $25 each...Eric played for almost 2 hours and hung out with us so we could get photos and autographs...what a great individual he was and the experience was awesome...

As much I love the King, I don't think he had much self respect towards the end. Too many deep fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches.

I am not surprised, it often seems as if the most talented are also the most accessible. $25 to see and hang out with someone as legendary as Eric is a cracking good deal too!

$50,000 for a private session with Gene Simmons? No thank you. Doesn’t he have enough money already?

OMG that’s terrible. For $50K they could at least have a PA and a sound man.

That is actually a good question. He doesn't need the money, thats for sure. Maybe because he likes doing it or to feed his (huge) ego?

I was going to read some of the posts in the thread but changed my mind. I can't do it. I have nothing left when it comes to trying to justify why I like Kiss. The haters have won. :(

I was severely censored for hatin on DJ Khaled, so I must be kind to gene. I would be inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt anyway ... if there was any.

Ace was mailin it in no doubt.. but I’m likin his cool look these days. I still say it was a hair away from maybe being good. Havin ace crank some cold gin in your living room has great potential.

Kiss was my first concert experience in 1976. I wonder what I could sell to raise 50 thousand dollars.... hmmm. I need most of my stuff that I can think of...
