The DCC gold version of Made in Japan notwithstanding, I don't think I would pay a minimum of $59.99 for this particular disc. At least the seller states that it's "used".

 

looks like it has a lot of barcodes or something stuck to it. would those come off proper?

 

IIRC, it doesn't have any unique mastering and IMO its price is not justified.

The DCC aside, I'd go with the original Japan release for that price, or the UK EMI.

Maybe, maybe not. I've told the story before, but I once bought a Japanese black-triangle copy of Olivia Newton-John Physical that arrived with a sticker on the label side. Although I tried to remove it very slowly, I ended up peeling off a strip of aluminum from the plastic ring to the outer edge. The End.

 

yep, the stickers would defo be a deal breaker if i were into them and a collector.

 

All those bar code stickers - has to be a rental CD. Not a chance for that price.

I had a clear sticker on a cd. I ran it under warm water a while and then used alcohol to take off the residue after getting the glue warmed up from tap water to peal it off easily. it took a while but it didnt damage the label at all.

 

Definitely a rental, I have a couple with stickers I decided to leave on (not that quantity of stickers however )

 

Given that the seller is Japanese and all, there is something outrageously wrong with his/her user id.

I wonder what the extra weight on different parts of the disc would do to your transport mechanism after a while ?
