That makes absolutely no sense. 4’33” is the ‘silent’ piece. So she WOULD hear you.

    Putting on?

Forget that, I'm actually playing something myself, probably on piano.

Has worked out pretty well for me so far... :agree:

Seriously, I almost always put on North Indian music when I want to create a ‘mood’. The progression of the movements of a raga mirror the energies of love making.

There was a Ray Charles collection that was my go-to for such situations. Whatever became of that thing?

I'm going to shower my date with a laserdisc presentation of Janet Jackson's 'Control'.

Date: "Oh, Paul that was a wonderful date tonight. Are we going to watch a film before bed time"?
Paul: "No baby cakes. How about something different?"
    Date: "Huh, like what?"
Paul: "Janet Jackson's Control Video's on Laserdisc"
    Date: "Laser what?"
Paul: "This" *brings out big 12" shiny disc*
Date: "I've never seen one of those before... but it's too big for your Blu-ray player" :tsk:
Paul: "No, this goes into my Laserdisc player"
Paul: "This is also the CAV version with digital sound"
    Date: "???"
Paul: *loads laserdisc* and pours Brandy/Wine
Date: "Oh, Paul you dream boat, what a cool sound. I didn't know a music video could sound so good"

I'll blow her cotton socks off :bdance:

You 'rarely bring dates home anymore'.

I suppose the correct comeback is 'so where do you take them now?'

Well, I guess that all depends on who the date is now, doesn't it?

I've known girls who would respond better to Iron Maiden or Ministry than Luther Vandross or Barry White.
