It would have to be an acoustic show though. :(

  5. Allman Brothers Band at SUNY Stonybrook, 9/19/1971. The recording sounds like crap, but the music - oh, the music! As good as anything on At The Fillmore IMO, plus "Blue Sky" and a gorgeous "Dreams." I'd love to hear it live in the room.

Husker Du @ Ralphs in Worcester, MA 1984. I'm from that area and in the 90's my band played there a lot. I didn't know about Husker Du then. I used to have a tape of that night.

Are you a Gort? Do you desire Gort status? What is with all of your attempted policing of these forums? Topics repeat all the time. Take a Xanax and let it pass.

John McLaughlin with the Mahavishnu Orchestra 1973 IIRC. THE single most intense 2 hours of music I have ever heard in my life.

it's almost universally disliked, but I would pick the Mingus Town Hall concert anyway. Just to see all those people, to hear Mingus speak, to experience the music as process. I would get more from that than from a perfect concert.

Probably The Who in 'hotlanta '73, the show I had free tickets for, but could not go to due to a strong sense of youthful responsibility, and a conformity that was perhaps a tadful mistake. Looking back now it ranks near the top of the wagon pile of foolish decisions.

A Wings Over America show. Kansas City or Chicago, since in real life it'd be one of those two cities since St. Louis didn't get it.
