The early '70s Crusaders stuff on MCA would be awesome on SACD remastered by SH. Any of their double albums would be ideal to fit on one disc. Those being:
    1
    Second Crusade
    Southern Comfort

Also Unsung Heroes would be good. If this stuff can be licensed for cheap and the original tapes are available, I say "go for it"!

How about Joe Sample's "Rainbow Seeker" & "Carmel"?

I love those first two Joe Sample albums. One Crusaders album that has never been issued on CD domestically and IMHO is one of their best is "Crusaders I". Great album that has "Put It Where You Want It" and their version of "So Far Away". Some very tasty licks from Larry Carlton on that track.

I just got Chain Reaction a couple of weeks ago, and am very close to tossing it in the can. Not even good enough for in the truck. I'm thinking I should get a boombox for work.
