Just post your favorite albums from 1985. As long as they were released between Jan 1 and Dec 31 1985 they qualify. Don't worry about posting the albums critics love, just post what you like. My post is gonna take up some room so I'll post mine down in the thread. Remember, have fun.

Two classic albums!

 

I figured there was a Camper Van Beethoven album that year and yeah that one got a lot of play.

 

Yeah, that's a great album!

 

Rock wise, only one 1985 album stands out to me as a classic:



Tom Waits Rain Dogs is a good album, but I don't think anywhere near his best.

I came of age in the 80s yet didn't much care for the music. Nothing's changed since.

Not much of a year for jazz either.

Coincidentally, these albums are probably my favourites by each artist, apart from Waits (which would be 'Swordfishtrombones').
