    I wasn’t buying records (yet), but I’m reminded by many of the above posts what songs I actually remember from the time.

    SHERRY was everywhere, and PALISADES PARK still excites me enough that I have a Freddie Cannon cd.

    I remember hearing Soldier of Love on vinyl from England sometime in the early 1990s and wondering how that guy was not as well-known as Ben E King..

    I've always wanted to have a better cd collection for The Tams than is available. I did buy the single What Kind of Fool, though I think that may have been from 1963.
