All time favourites? I have been gaming for 40 years. Whats my barometer? Do i still play them?
All time fave is probs Witcher 3. Its simply sublime. And with mods its still the best looking game on pc at 4k ultra.
RDR1 is outstanding but hard to play now as it looks so awful. Not the games fault, its afact that games dont age well and you cant take them out of the time there were in
RDR2 I have finished 5 times, 2 on the X and 3 on pc. It should have been better and would have been if rockstar had have eased up on the awful scripting. But its still a favourite
    FIFA series
    MAss effect 1/2/3
Manicminer. Harder by far than any game around now.
    Spy hunter
    fallout 4(PC only)
My mind has gone a blank. these will do for now

I have to disagree... I just replayed RDR1 recently for the first time in ages, and for a 10-year-old game, I was surprised at how good it still looks.

Years ago, my Grandma’s brother was in the video game industry and many members of the family got full size arcade games from him. My Grandparents got Galaga and kept it in their basement. I had a lot of fun hours playing that game. It was a treat to be able to play on an arcade machine without any quarters hehe.

In the pinball days, - High Speed Pinball "Pull over!" while waiting for my clothes at the laundromat. On my pc currently, Unreal Tournament GOTY, and GTA Vice City, with some of my own favourite 80s music mp3s added to the dropbox. I tried to install Far Cry3 in the last few days, but can't play it because of the 740 error. I'm not about reinstall the thing with all the rigamarole, just to see if it works.

San Francisco has a arcade game museum in Fisherman’s Wharf with functioning machines from the 80’s like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Centipede, Donkey Kong. I always manage to have a blast there. Last month I took my 20 yr old son and he was not impressed. His loss!

'war robots' .... i play it on iOS ...

    essentially 6 vs 6

you get a hangar of 5 bots
players from all over the world
you can play solo random and or squad battles
i'm in a clan that consists of players from Mexico, US, Australia, Greece, Russia, and some mystery countries lol, and as far as i know i'm the only Canadian. And surprisingly a lot of us are in the same age group ....

    more fun than frustrating LMAO

some people $pend crazy money on this thing ... i'm guessing there are a lot of wall st guys doing this lol .... i've played w 'regular' folk who have invested over 8K on this thing over the course of several years, and these guys still weren't the monsters..... the game has had quite a history. created by some ruthle$$ russians LOL. it's excellent at aggressive escapism.

    I do quite well as a chuck-a-buck player ...

i had bought a play station 1 at one point, and that was the last time i had really played anything outside childhood (asteroids, space invaders, defender)

this game is very addictive to a certain personality type i think LMAO

Forbidden Forest (C64) one of coolest musical scores for a game at that time
    Dead Space (PS3)
Flight Simulator 2 (C64) This is what cemented my desire to fly for a living. The new one coming out soon looks absolutely incredible.

Indiana Jones And The Fate Of Atlantis (Amiga and PC)

I used to play that one all the time when I was a kid... absolutely loved it! I'd buy a remaster/remake in a heartbeat!

I'm currently playing GoldenEye Reloaded on PS3... it's quite a bit different than the original, but still fun.

Yeah, same here. I can’t remember how many times I played Indy and the last Crusade, but Fate of Atlantis took it to another level. The graphics and the story were mind-blowing when it came out.

The original DOOM! I spent hundreds of hours playing it followed by DOOM II, Hexen and Heretic.

Diablo, II and III consumed hundreds of hours. Starcraft ate hundreds more.

For the past 3 years I have played countless hours of Skyrim SE on Xbox. The mods keep this game fresh.

Back in the day I had a friend who worked in Mattel R&D so we got the Intellivision itself early and later games pre-release or in development. A bunch of us had all-nighters playing the damn games. A lot of Baseball, Triple Action, the pre-release Trons and Minotaur (which was later released as Advanced D&D), B-17 Bomber, Soccer, Bowling, Skiing, Bomb Squad, Space Spartans, etc...
