Just honesty. I like a lot of different stuff about the same amount. To pare it down to a handful I'd have to just pick stuff arbitrarily, and it wouldn't be honest.

Agreed, but the tread title is ¨your top 3 of the 70s¨

That's my top 3, regardless of impact on anything else:D. It's OK if your top 3 is within some general consensus, but I never cared about what the majority thought.

Of course you're free to pick whoever you want; I was simply pointing out that they are known more as an 80s band, they "broke out" in the 80s and that is when they really made an impact. Kudos to you if you were into them in the 70s, you were ahead of the curve. ;)

  19. The Pinhead

The Pinhead KING OF BOOM AND SIZZLE IN HELL

Yes they really broke out in the 80s really.

  20. Yes
    Led Zeppelin
    Pink Floyd

Obvious choices, and I might have Thin Lizzy up there, too. (Part Irish, part American, but clearly based out of England).

head and shoulders above the other bands IMHO...not sure who I'd chose for #3. Maybe Bowie?
