Buy 3 CDs and get one free! Here's how:
    - add your selections to your shopping cart
    - type the code YMB3G1 into the "Enter Promotion Code:" box
    - click the "update" button, then proceed to checkout.

If you purchase three separate items in your CART (with separate
selection numbers), you may choose one single CD free of charge. A
scheduled queue purchase cannot be counted as a qualifying item. A
double-CD set or boxed set will not count as a qualifying item and
cannot be redeemed free of charge; the item to be redeemed free of
charge must be a single CD. To qualify, purchase must be made by
    11:59 pm on October 5, 2010.

Interesting. Looks like they are going back to the old promotion scheme of bmgmusic.

They've used this promo before, but for me the trouble is finding titles to put in my queue much less put in my cart.

I wish I could search by label. There are probably some Rounder titles I've missed because I haven't run across them when browsing through the catalog.

Thanks, I stumbled upon a few doing that. :righton:

Pickings are still pretty slim however.

I've given up on shopping at yourmusic.com with the exception of filling my queue (which is challenging enough).

they seemed to have stopped adding ECM titles, so I think I am officially done with BMG/yourmusic.

I exited yourmusic a few months ago - just couldn't find anything else I wanted.... picked up several SACDs though....

  9. The selection is pathetic now and dwindling all the time. I have a hard time finding one CD to purchase, much less four.

Updating my own question. I purchased some Verve (jazz) titles in the recent 4-for-3 sale. They were "Originals" series titles that are in digipaks at retail stores (with very minimal artwork, etc.).

Of the ones I received so far, some were the retail version (digipaks, regular UPC code). Others were in a jewel case, with the artwork done to fit a jewel case and BMG Music Club in place of the UPC code.

They have some good deals on a few SACDs that I'd jump on if they shipped to Canada.

Anyone know what the Limits are with these people ? I know you can only order any 2 of one title at a time , but they will not let me put stuff in my cart that i have ordered in the past , that seems really silly , I was gonna get a few sacd's for friend for Xmas .........

  17. No idea, I assume Yourmusic will close up shop when their contract with Universal Music expires. The other major labels have dropped out as soon as their contracts were up.

I contacted them on the "limits" issue & indeed any one account can only buy 2 of one title & then they flag your account on what titles you have bought two of & you are allowed no more .
so there are a few titles both myself & my girlfriend own & i tried ordering some stuff for Xmas & they stopped me on one title , seems silly , i would think they would take sales anyway you can get them
