I'm guessing the title track will be leading then Fat Old Sun, then If.

My favourite is Fat Old Sun. The chorus sends shivers down my spine everytime. Each of the 3 songs are really special to me and I'm not really sure why. They just touch me. Love this album. Love the title track. Love Alan's.

I really like everything except “Alan’s Psychedelic Breakfast” (I guess you could say I like all the songs), but I have to with “Fat Old Sun” as my favorite. It’s one of the most beautifully idyllic songs ever recorded by a rock band, and David Gilmour’s high-pitched vocals are perfect.

It's fantastic. Wright is my favourite member and I think this is one of his best. Wish the vocals were clearer on this song though as it's hard to make out what he's saying in a few parts.

    Agreed absolutely.

My favorite Floyd LP and "Summer '68" gets the nod for top track. Love the whole thing though and it's one of those albums I have to force myself to NOT play. Glad to see Gilmour return to it on recent tours

As much as I love the title track, I adore Fat Old Sun.

Title track. My favourite track from my favourite album. The others are brilliant too and Fat Old Sun will be playing at my funeral. I gained a new appreciation for the Breakfast by breaking it into three and editing out most of the effects.

I went Fat Old Sun too.

In my mind, that and Summer 68 hit that sweet spot of peculiarly English wistfulness so well I have been known to get slightly misty eyed.....

I'm a "Fat Old Sun" lover, but overall its a good consistent album.

Always felt "Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast" could have been left off, I don't really care if Alan likes marmalade or not.

The cover art always brings me a smile...

Fat old sun is favorite and ""if is my 2nd favorite. They were really starting to get great on these two tracks and master works were right around the corner.

Imo this is the second 'worst' album from pre-Dark Side.

Well, of course, it’s the title track, but other than the sickly, If, I love the whole album. Gilmour and Wright turned in two of their very finest songs and I love Alan’s Psychedelic Breakfast with a passion. I feel the negative things both Waters and Gilmour have said about the title are bonkers, as it’s far better than anything on their own solo albums. It’s a really original and inspired progressive rock epic, helped of course, by the involvement of Ron Geesin. Still gives me goosebumps. Love the album cover, as well. Looks like the cows on the farms in my area.

They didn’t have a worst album, pre-Dark Side...as a matter of fact, they were all great.

'Worst' doesn't necessarily mean bad. Just means least preferred.
I'd say the worst album from pre-Dark Side is Ummagumma and I still really like it.
