We lost "Go Back Home" in the last round in a very close vote.
Hopefully, the vote was not impacted too heavily by the forum outage and people were able to access the forum for their vote.

This brings us to the final.
Please remember: You are still voting for the track that you want to vote off, and not for the track that you would like to be the winner.

    Discussion question:
What would your final pairing (and winner) have been?

    01) - 02) ...
    03) Go Back Home (round 6)
    04) Old Times Good Times (round 5)
    05) Black Queen (round 4)
    06) Sit Yourself Down (round 3)
    07) We Are Not Helpless (round 2)
    08) Church (Part of Someone) (round 2)
    09) To a Flame (round 1)
    10) Cherokee (round 1)

Thank you for participating in this game.

Up next: @LandHorses has the Dire Straits' debut album.

I'm very surprised that one of these songs made it to the final.

But I'm not saying which song!

Been voting off the same song the entire week with no luck.

"Do for the Others" as the weaker link.

My final would have been "Go Back Home" winning over "Love the One You're With".

These two songs would have been my choices for the final. I chose Love the One You're With as the weaker link. I love Do for the Others. Great song by Stephen Stills. One of his best.

My vote is once again for (or against! :)) Love The One You're With.

I'll be happy enough if it wins though. It's a great song.

My final pairing? Maybe Old Times, Good Times and Do For The Others with the latter just getting the win.

This has been fun. Many thanks to Stephane for running the competition and to all the participants for making it interesting! :righton:

This may not come unexpected, but the votes were close, especially in rounds 5 and 6.

    05) Black Queen (round 4)

And now, let's move on to the next WL that @LandHorses is hosting on the Dire Straits' debut album: Poll--The Weakest Link: Dire Straits DIRE STRAITS (1st album), Round 1

This was an unexpected winner to me since fans in this kind of game tend to go for the obscure tracks.

For Love the One You're With to win means it's an outstanding track despite being the song everyone has heard countless times.

And I'm happy because from the very beginning I was wondering how to get this track to win. Funnily enough the first and last song I voted off was Do for the Others.
