  3. Cool. I was born is SF and always try to recognize buildings locations , sometimes out the windows. So seems like Polk Gultch ? I keep guessing

  5. So not really Russian Hill :). My bank First Republic is almost around the corner on Van Ness. I'm in the Mission.

    Anyway nice beautiful set up.

    Why? I thought the Apollo was supposed to be a step up...

    Now, I'm not dogging you on your statement; I've always understood the original Planet to be *the* most analogue-sounding CD deck ever...was that your feeling too?

    Yes it was just a personal thing. The Apollo was much more detailed and open sounding, better bass but I missed the easy going, more analogue sounding Planet. If I hadn't had the Planet first I probably would have been perfectly happy with the Apollo. As it stands, I don't own a digital player anymore and don't miss having one.
