Here's a revised Abacab that becomes a masterpiece: Unfortunately, I had to remove 'Another Record' as the rest of the song doesn't live up to the promise of the intro and spoils the mood.
I like Who Dunnit for what it is. they’re just messing around, having fun and I don’t expect something different. There’s room in the catalogue for all different kinds of songs.
Who else here became a huge Genesis fan after having previously thought The Beatles were the greatest thing ever? I realize that w/o The Fab 4, Genesis would not have the canvas to have created their music on, but I feel like their music is on a much higher level...

I discovered Genesis as a teen and I though THEY were the greatest thing ever Never went crazy about the Liverpool guys, TBH.
I am a fan of the Beatles, but that is pretty much completely unrelated to Genesis for me. I discovered Genesis by accident really. I think I had seen the Abacab and No Reply At All video's on an Australian Music show.... but It didn't really click that they were Genesis... who are Genesis? I always saw their albums when I was in record stores, but they confused me. Before I knew the history of the group, it confused me, because I thought there must be two bands called Genesis, because I saw these, what to me looked like Heavy Metal album covers (i think mainly Genesis Live gave me that impression), and these rock album covers ... and so I wasn't sure where to start. In a secondhand store one day I saw And Then There Were Three and Nursery Cryme for a dollar each and I bought them ... with my heart in my mouth to be honest ... I think that was the first time I had bought an artists album that I had no idea who they really were. I was very happy with both, and still consider those two albums as two of my favourites. Since those early eighties purchases, I made a habit of buying random albums that look like they appeal to me ... they aren't always as successful as those two, but it is still a fun journey.
OK Gen-heads, help out a fellow fan here. Way back in 83/84 - Genesis put out a 12" single that had the extended versions of "Mama" and "It's Gonna Get Better" on side A, and a live version of "Firth Of Fifth" on side B. Apparently, this same live version appeared later on the Turn It on Again: Best of 81-83 collection. Does anyone if this same "Fof5th" track is available on streaming services? Or on YouTube?

Actually, the flexi disc says it's from Nassau Genesis - Firth Of Fifth (Live) while That's All 12'' single says it's from The Savoy Genesis - That's All Honestly, i've go no interest comparing it to the bootleg recordings of both shows to confirm its real source.
